DISMISSAL OF ZAKARI BIU DUE TO ESCAPE OF SUSPECTED BOKO HARAM,

KABIRU SOKOTO Zakari Biu who was a commissioner incharge of criminal investigations in Abuja until yesterday when the news of his dismissal from the police force as announced by The Police Service commission. The decision to dismiss Biu was as a result of his culpability in the escape of suspected Boko Haram terrorist Kabiru Sokoto as said by Mr Pany Osayande, the suspected last Christmas day catholic church bomber from police custody. He reportedly masterminded the bombing of the St.Theresa catholic church, Madaki Niger state killing 42people, he was recently captured in Taraba state. The decision regarding Biu's dismissal was taken at the meeting of the PSC which was held in Abuja yesterday. A statement signed by Mr. Fredinand U. Ekpe on behalf of the chairman of the commission.
