Omotola Jolade in legal mess over debt allegation, engaged the services of Festus Keyamo

Nollywood star actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has reportedly engaged the services of popular Lagos lawyer and human rights activist, Festus Keyamo over an alleged breach of contract filed against her company, Redhot Concepts Limited, by a person in name of Keshi Elvis, a lawyer who holds brief for Megafield Solicitor. As claimed by Keshi Elvis, we started having issues when she stopped honouring the contractual agreement we entered into in 2010, where I insisted that my annual retainership fee would be N500,000. She negotiated for N200,000 per annum retainership fee. "I prepared an Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) and after studying it, she invited me on 22nd or 23rd of February, 2010 for the execution of the MOU". According to Keshi,"I have sincerely kept to my part of the deal and carried out all instructions from Redhot concepts through Omotola with utmost loyalty". Omotola is owing a total of N1,150,000, for retainership agreement and services rendered to Omotola and her company within the aforementioned period. “In February 2012, I wrote Omotola where I terminated our agreement, with a letter of demand. She ignored me all this while, and all my attempt to settle it amicably with her was to no avail” he said. The actress is said to have enlisted the services of famous Lagos Lawyer and human rights activist, Festus Keyamo, not to deny owing the complainant money, but to – among other things – counter that what she owed is “N350,000, and not N1,150,000”. All attempt to reach Omotola since this news broke has proved abortive, not responding to any of our messages or calls. Does this mean there's possibility of her hiding the truth about this story?
